Bigfoot map

A new map by Joshua Stevens shows alleged U.S. sightings of Bigfoot,

Reported sightings of Bigfoot — the legendary apelike creature that’s been a favorite of cryptozoologists for decades — have abounded for decades. Now, for the first time, someone has created a map showing the places where alleged Bigfoot sightings have occurred.

Joshua Stevens, a doctoral candidate at Pennsylvania State University, used data compiled by the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization (BFRO), which tries to document “the presence of an animal, probably a primate, that exists today in very low population densities,” according to the group’s website.

Stevens converted the BFRO data and, using geographic-information software, plotted 3,313 data points showing where people have claimed to see Bigfoot (aka Sasquatch, Skunk Ape, Yeti, Skookum or dozens of other names). [Rumor or Reality: Tales of 10 Creatures of Cryptozoology]

“Right away, you can see that sightings are not evenly distributed,” Stevens said on his website. “There are distinct regions where sightings are incredibly common, despite a very sparse population. On the other hand, in some of the most densely populated areas, Sasquatch sightings are exceedingly rare. The terrain and habitat likely play a major role in the distribution of reports.”

The map, which uses reports from 1921 to 2012, shows a plethora of supposed sightings in the Pacific Northwest, the Ohio River Valley, central Florida, the Sierra Nevada mountain range and the Mississippi River Valley.

Stevens’ analysis also includes a chronological timeline showing a rise in reported sightings in the late 1970s (perhaps coinciding with the release of several B-movies about the mythical creature). Another spike in reported Bigfoot sightings occurred between 2000 and 2009.

Despite his exhaustive analysis of the BFRO data, Stevens stops short of giving the information more credibility than it deserves. “Ultimately, I’m not convinced there’s a descendant of (giant ape) Gigantopithecus playing hide-and-seek in the Pacific Northwest,” Stevens said. “But if respectable folks like … primatologist Jane Goodall believe there’s something more to the myth, I think it’s at least worth putting on the map.”

Goodall, in an interview that was broadcast on NPR in 2006, said, “I’m sure that they exist.” The famed primate researcher also confessed, “Well, I’m a romantic, so I always wanted that.”

A handful of other academics, including Jeffrey Meldrum, professor of anatomy and anthropology at Idaho State University in Pocatello, have taken a scientific interest in the legend of Bigfoot, but to date, no hard evidence of any hominid or apelike creature has been substantiated.

All alleged samples of Bigfoot hair, for example, have turned out to be from elk, bears or cows. Photos, audio and film footage have been determined to be inconclusive or hoaxes, and no bodily remains have ever been found — despite the fact that there would have to be hundreds or thousands of the creatures in existence in order to maintain the “species.”

But Bigfoot enthusiasts will no doubt continue their search undaunted — and now, thanks to Stevens’ map, they know where to look.

Paulides findings – the humanness of Bigfoot – Is it all True series #290

BF HumanessDavid Paulides wrote a book in 2008 called the Hoopa Project: Bigfoot encounters in California. David, a former law enforcement professional, is a highly trained interviewer. His interviews among the Hoopa First Nation may have been a historic first because of David’s investigative abilities. David also had on his team an excellent forensic artist named Harvey Pratt. The artwork that Harvey produced was quite amazing and I would guess a very accurate projection of what the witnesses were telling him.

One of the main findings was that the Bigfoot witnesses didn’t see the sagittal crest (pointed head), heavy brows, and ape-man “muzzle” features. The witnesses seemed to see what would be considered a more “wild-man” type of being.
My friend researcher Kewaunee Lapseritis has said for many years that at a minimum there are two types of Bigfoot and maybe more, again the ape-type and the other human type. Also there may be another one called an Ancient One. This Ancient One has some features of both other types. On my last mini-expedition with Kewaunee I was lucky to get a distance photo of an Ancient One (see below).

Reports of this “wild-man” type go back to the 1800’s and were favorite conversation of lumberjacks and other people who worked out in rural forested areas of North America. If you look at the Patterson/Gimlin film and the photos that have come from it, it truly shows human features, but some ape features also. There have also been interesting reports from Tennessee and Alaska stating these human features. Could this human-type Bigfoot be our missing link or are we their missing link? It looks like we have common DNA between the two species.

Sleep tight – We will find out someday that Sasquatch is our closest relative in the human life chain.

Alberta: Bow Valley flooding exposes rotting carcass of a Sasquatch.

KewauneeLegendary Cryptid believed to be a surviving Gigantopithecus

(SNN) – The recent mass flooding in southern Alberta has exposed a rotting corpse of what is believed to be the legendary Sasquatch. Cryptozoologists worldwide are lining up to examine the remains, which were located by a hiker along the Bow River, northwest of Canmore, Alberta.
Eminent Paleontologist Wally Johnson has conducted a preliminary site examination of the remains, and has discovered that the carcass appears to be ancient. “I can report that from the bone structure, stature and a comparison of the mandibles and teeth, that I believe the remains are that of a Gigantopithecus.”
“We have always believed that the Sasquatch, Yeti, or even Bigfoot, if you will, was really a surviving clan of Hominids connected to the line of Gigantopithecus.” stated Cryptozoologist Coren Lowman, “The find near Canmore is extraordinary!”
With the massive rains of June which washed away ancient glaciers of the eastern slopes of the Canadian Rockies, scientists are speculating that the remains may have been frozen high in the rockies for many years.
This is the first report of a Gigantopithecus within North America. The first fossils of this creature were originally found in China.
One cryptid theory is that the creature “Sasquatch” migrated across the Bering sea bridge into North America and hides out in mountainous regions. No living Gigantopithecus has ever been found and the known fossil records indicate that the creature lived one hundred thousand years ago.
“This is the find of a lifetime,” stated Lowman, “Only a climate event such as what was witnessed in Southern Alberta this year could wash this beast’s remains into the banks of the Bow River.”

Paranormal Aspects of BF – Kewaunee and Beck- Is it all True Series # 289

KewauneeNormally this time of the year I would be on an expedition to some remote area of Canada or the US with my dear friend and Sasquatch researcher Kewaunee Lapseritis. But this year because personal and business commitments I was unable to go. But next year I will be off to the northwest part of Washington State to research for the Giant Ones in an area that is rich in Bigfoot activity.

Now the paranormal aspects of the Bigfoot have caused a major stir in the Bigfoot research community for many years. The belief that Bigfoot is an inter-dimensional being that can easily move between dimensions, has caused tension between the middle-of-the-road researchers and the out-of-the-box researchers like Beck and Lapseritis.
Fred Beck was probably the first to declare that Bigfoot is an inter-dimensional paranormal-type being. In 1924, Fred and his party had a strange encounter with Bigfoot on Mount St. Helens, which redefined reality as Fred knew it. In 1967, Fred’s son, Ron, wrote a book on his father’s experience called “I fought the Apemen of Mt. St. Helens.”
Kewaunee’s research in the 70’s, 80’s and present day has confirmed and re-confirmed Beck’s original theory about the Sasquatch’s inter-dimensional reality.

Kewaunee has written two books on the subject, and I am sure there will be more books in the future. He claims there are different types of Bigfoot– Ancient Ones–some have a human face, some have an ape-type face and the third kind (which is the rarest of them all) has a baboon face, while some have called these the dog-faced ones.

Kewaunee has had numerous contacts with the Bigfoot people, mostly on the telepathic level, but also has had two physical sightings, where the BF’s have materialized and dematerialized in front of him. I will say again that Kewaunee is the real thing researcher and Bigfoot are inter-dimensional beings; years of seeing is believing.

Sleep tight – and find your BF family and enjoy another reality.

Baby foxes or Bigfoot?

The Oregonian newspaper posted an article about a series of strange howls that have been emanating from the murky swamps of the Umatilla Indian Reservation. Most of the residents in or around the 178,000 acre reservation who have heard the spooky shrills believe them to be from baby foxes or coyotes. Then there are those who think the night howls can be attributed to Bigfoot.

PENDLETON — Baby foxes or Bigfoot?
The eerie late-night serenades began in November and emanate from a brushy swamp on the Umatilla Indian Reservation east of Pendleton. The cries range from high-pitched screams to basso profundo roars.
“It’s causing an uproar around here,” said Sylvia Minthorn, who lives in a tribal housing unit near the swamp, where she used to play as a child.

She’s seen grown men’s hair stand on end when the shrieks commence.
Colleen Chance, a tribal housing authority employee, keeps a recording of the howls on her iPhone.
So far no one’s pinpointed the source of the noise on this rugged 178,000-acre reservation that extends into northeastern Oregon’s Blue Mountains and is home to about 1,500 people. The swamp in question borders the old reservation community of Mission, in a canyon north of the Wildhorse Resort and Casino.
Phone calls about the wails started coming in last month to the housing authority, and the office has had a half dozen so far. More could come in because the cries are continuing from time to time.
Some tenants of the reservation’s 190 rentals and 32 homes admitted being afraid and one man reported that his dogs were too terrified to go outside, said Josh Franken, the housing authority’s interim director.
“This guy was rather scared himself,” Franken said. A rumor quickly spread that the cries were made by “a young Bigfoot that had got separated from the rest of his clan,” he said.
It’s difficult to shrug off the accounts, said Marcus Luke, a housing authority homeownership counselor. Many on the reservation “are woodsy-type folks,” familiar with animals and not prone to taking fright at nighttime commotion, he said.

I’ve heard the squabbles of coyotes at night. I can tell you that it’s definitely a creepy sound to hear in the dead calm of a Californian dessert. I’ve yet to hear foxes squabble, but I’m sure it’s just as unsettling. The residents of Pendleton have heard coyotes and foxes all their lives, yet many of them believe that the eerie howls sound nothing like the local wildlife.
But many who’ve heard the racket dismiss such notions. “Foxes do sound creepy,” said Sylvia Minthorn. “But it’s not the same sound, not even close.”

Bigfoot DNA and the Big Leak — Is it all True Series # 286

KewauneeChris O’Brien wrote an interesting article in the publication called World Explorer (Summer 2013) on a Bigfoot DNA study. This 5-year study, organized by Dr. Melba Ketchum, examined 40 genetic samples. Ketchum has 27 years of experience in genetic research including forensic study. Her initial research indicated that law enforcement and public officials know the real truth that Bigfoot exists.

The unfortunate thing is that the results of her study were leaked to the public before it was published which was very damaging to the creditability of the study and it was difficult to get an unbiased peer review of her paper.
The conclusion from her DNA studies is that the North American Sasquatch is a hybrid of human DNA and an unknown species, maybe a throwback to the now extinct giant Lemur, which weighed 300 to 400 lbs. This hybridization event probably occurred within the last 15000 years.

Another issue Melba faced was that the more mainstream journals were afraid (cowards) to publish her well-researched study. Her study was leaked by a Russian from the International Center of Hominology. Dr. Ketchum, who truly believes in the powerful results of her study, has gone as far as to buy her own publication (DeNovo). Many scientists and journals were quite critical of the study, some even calling it a fake. But Scientific American, an excellent publication, said good work for submitting the manuscript and letting the world know.

I agree with Chris; as researchers, we all can only hope the Ketchum material will some day get properly peer-reviewed and maybe, just maybe, the truth will be allowed get out to the public, and the world will be forever changed.

Sleep Tight – Truth is a powerful agent of change.

Bigfoot — in New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —The founder of the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization said Bigfoot is as close as any mountain range in New Mexico.

Matt Moneymaker told Action 7 News that his evidence includes video footage. His show, “Finding Bigfoot” on Animal Planet, showed an image caught on infrared camera of a creature walking in the woods deep in the Jemez.

“I know they’re there because I’ve heard them myself during expeditions,” he said. “But there are so many witnesses up there, people continue to see them and that’s how we know they’re still there.”

Click to Vote: Do you think Bigfoot is real?

But they’re not the only ones researching in the Land of Enchantment.

Rob Kryder of Kryder Exploration has video of what he believed was a Sasquatch standing on a ridge in the Sandias in 1995. He enhanced the shot to see if it was a tree, but he says it’s clearly a Bigfoot.

“We don’t see a lot of fear response,” explained Kryuder. “We see a lot of thoughtful intelligent movement, they’re extremely extremely strategic.”

He showed Action 7 News a footprint cast of a male, about 12 feet tall who runs around with a female in the Sandias, east of the Northeast Heights.

But Kryder has also found evidence near Madrid. Kryder and his team have been tracking a family of three for about a year in the Eastern Ortiz Moutains.

They found trees pushed over, which researchers said is a form of communication or warning. They also found bark ripped off of the ones left standing.

At night, they have caught their howls.

“It was completely different,” said Kryder Exploration researcher Melissa Thompson. “There was nothing wildlife-wise that we were able to get that matched what we were seeing.”

Fellow team member Josh Lawrence said he saw “eye-shine” or a Bigfoot staring at him through some trees during an evening investigation.

“Their eyes are big,” he said. “I mean, bigger than a dog, a cat, or a rabbit.”

While most are still skeptical, that doesn’t deter these Bigfoot believers.

“There’s enough physical evidence out there to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt a thousand times over,” said Kryder.

Bigfoot is a Lemurian – “Oh My” —Is it all True Series #279

KewauneesBookcoverOne of the first reported Bigfoot sightings was in 1958 by Jerry Crew and his team of road builders in Bluff Creek. Jerry and his crew saw the big footprints of this creature and the name “bigfoot” was born. The whole incident was reported to the local newspaper and the legend officially began, of course there were many reports from around the world of these Bigfoot types hundreds of years before 1958.

Of course, after the initial official American sighting, Bigfoot started to be linked to UFOs and multidimensional beings. My friend and super BF researcher Kewaunee Lapseritis was one of the first to state in his books that BF were inter-dimensional and they were a connected to UFOs and alien groups.
In 1955, there was a newspaper article in the San Francisco Examiner, written by an adventurer and newspaper man, John W Chamberlain. John spoke of the Bigfoot, not as an unidentified ape, but as a survivor of a lost continent, a Lemurian. Legend has it Lemuria flooded about 10,000 to 100,000 years ago; this mountainous area sunk and the vast majority of its inhabitants perished. The exception was that a few escaped to the Pacific Northwest area of North America and maybe, just maybe they were Bigfoot.

The Lemuria Theory, although “out there,” may have some validity. By some accounts, Lemuria was a beautiful wooded mountainous continent located west of present day California, Oregon and Washington, and one of the early hot beds of Bigfoot sightings. Of course, today we all know Bigfoot can be spotted anywhere on Earth and have taken the form of similar types of creatures. I will tell you this, even if they are not from Lemuria, they are very, very real and their discovery and disclosure will be the major story of our lifetime.

Sleep tight, the world will never stop amazing us all.

The Snowman Commission – Is a Russian Disclosure Coming? Is it all True Series #277

KewauneeThere is an influential man named Nikola Valuev, a Russian boxer turned politician, who is a big believer in the Yeti/Sasquatch in Russia. I saw a picture of him, and his face with its strong features and big brow looks amazingly like a Bigfoot. Having vast areas of wilderness and areas of minimum human habitation, makes Russia an ideal area for Bigfoot sightings. During World War II, there were rumors that the Russian military had captured a shaggy brown-haired wild man (BF). There is a recording in military records from 1941, that a man from the Russian Medical Service inspected the creature (BF) before it was executed.

In 1958, the Soviet Academy of Sciences, with Khrushchev’s approval, set up a Snowman Commission to investigate evidence of surviving Neanderthals in the Pamir Mountains. Doctor Marie Jeanne Koffman interviewed 4,000 witnesses, who had sightings of Bigfoot-type creatures. Her conclusion was that many of the sightings reported by reindeer herders and fishermen appeared to be real.

In Northwest Russia, near the town of Novgorod, there has been a long tradition of people having come across “white eye wonders” and red-hair beasts, which seem to be traveling in family groups.
A region called Gornya Shoriya has also produced testimonials of hominid-like creatures, and there were many complaints that these BF-type creatures were stealing livestock.

Some interesting folklore out of the region includes a native wood goblin called Shurale, considered a semi-malevolent wild man. Included in the Tatar culture of the region, these Shurales have stolen many horses, so the locals would put tar on the horse saddle and when the wild men jumped on the saddles, they would get stuck so the village people could easily capture and kill the thieves. The Shurale live in bird nest dwellings, similar to the nest of twigs or branches talked about in North American Sasquatch research.

I have written several articles on Bigfoot-type creatures in Russian. It is interesting to note that the Russians are much more open to discussing Sasquatch and even UFOs. I still bet that the Russians will lift the veil on the Wildman/Bigfoot/Sasquatch conspiracy, followed quickly by the reality of UFOs.

Sleep tight, the Russians love competition so they will try to be first on this major disclosure. It’s on the edge, and it’s BIG for Russia and the world.

Why the Interdimensional World? Is it all True Series #276

magical universeI have spent 45 years exploring the paranormal and the inter- dimensional realms including but not limited to UFOs, Bigfoot, vortex photography, and everything in-between called the paranormal.
I have asked myself for 45 years, why me, why do I have a powerful passion for this unique strangeness? I must tell you there is a bit of courage that is needed for this journey.

Well looking back I realize that from early on I had strange encounters most of which presently are locked deep in my mind only to surface occasionally to keep me motivated on my journey. I know I have been directly involved with UFOs, Alien Being contact (up to eight different types), underground military/alien facilities, fairies and other forest being types, cryptid creature types, Bigfoot and the Montauk project and its assorted strangeness.

So back to “why me.” I believe it was random luck or as some would say unluck. For me though I would have it no other way. I truly live on the edge. The edge is between the normal (whatever normal means) human world and the expansive Interdimensional universe, with its layers of great mysteries. I have told my children to embrace the unknown and just go forward without fear, for humans are very powerful and only fear can trigger their demise.

As I have developed groups of like-minded people, our combined knowledge has helped raise the global awareness that our world is hugely more complex than anything we could imagine. We humans live in a sea or soup of frequencies, where each major band of frequencies holds another world of uniqueness, another world of unique beings with unique cultures. These frequency bands are called dimensions, and there are times when one band will increase or decrease slightly in frequency and so there is a bleeding effect that allows dimensions to view each other. And that causes the event called the paranormal.

Sleep tight, may your journeys be safe and productive, but stay on the edge, it’s where reality lives.
