Another great Spanish explorer named Vespucci Amerigo (the guy the Americas were named after) wrote in his journals about encounters with giants on the island of Curacao.
They followed huge footprints up a trail and then they came across a small village, where they found 5 women, whom the Spaniards planned to kidnap, but soon giant men showed up. The Spaniards were able to get some food and drink from the giants, but then the Spaniards started getting nervous as they looked at the huge strength and stature of the giants and thought it best to get back to their ships and leave. Vespucci named the island–Curacao the Isle of Giants.

Next there was “Buffalo Bill Cody” an American soldier, hunter, and showman. At one meeting with the Pawnee Indians, they presented a large thighbone of a giant.
The Native Americans explained to Wild Bill that the bones were from an ancient race of giants that were three times the height of a normal man, and these giants could run down a buffalo, wrestle it to the ground and eat it raw.

In the late 20’s a nine-foot tall red haired mummy was discovered in a cave near Lovelock, Nevada. Other artifacts were found in this same cave years later, and rumor has it these artifacts are stored in a room at the Humboldt County Museum in Winnemucca, Nevada.

I believe they were caused by a rogue Bigfoot , since I have been researching Bigfoot most of my life , many of the little details David Paulides presents in his book point to Bigfoot. David may lack the knowledge of the ins and outs of Bigfoot.

Bottom line its a great book, a great mystery and I recommend you buy and read it and come to your own conclusion.

I typically write about the Ouija board on or around the Halloween season, I am a little late this year, but I understand that the second most used Ouija board day is New Years Eve, so I am early for that event. Also, check out my two-part post from July 17th and July 24th 2010 on the “Board”.

What got me to write this post was a movie I saw called the “ Rite “ a movie about exorcism and the Catholic Church. My belief has always been that vast majority of the people that go through this extreme exorcism process probably really need psychological help and not an exorcism. I would guess about 95% fall in that category, but there is the 5% that have an entity trapped in their body, and I guarantee that some let it in through the Ouija board game. I also believe the Catholic Church has created the morphic field through their preaching about a world full of demons. Now I am not saying there are not some bad beings in the world, but I suspect if you left them alone they would not bother us Humans. A sea of dimensional beings surrounds us and most have little or no interest in us. They only seem to react when we go looking for trouble. How I must confess I have taken digital photos of some of these beings – in my vortex photography, but only once have I felt threatened by their presence.

When using the Ouija Board you can open yourself up to allow an entity into your soul/mind and take temporary procession of you. There are only a handful of people in the world who should mess with the Ouija board and they are a small group of powerful shamans, who know how to protect themselves against a Psychic invasion.

We must all remember that we are powerful quantum beings so what we think we create.
So dwelling on demons will create and bring them to us and once they arrive, if fear rules in your mind, they have you. So if you screw-up and create/attract one — be fearless and tell them to go back, they must obey their master – You.

Gabe Valdez, 67, was a long-time State Patrol officer in charge of the Dulce, New Mexico area for many years.

For many, he was the central figure in investigations on cattle mutilations and frequently reported sightings of strange flying objects that seem to have dominated the Jicarilla Apache town of Dulce, New Mexico since the mid 1970s.

Gabe worked with the late Paul Bennewitz from the very beginning in investigating the alleged rumors about an existence of an underground base in Archuleta Mesa, adjacent to Dulce.

He has truly become a legend.
There is no doubt in my mind that Gabe knew more about Dulce than what he reported to the public. And we may never know, now that he has passed away.

Gabe was a kind-hearted, soft-spoken and extremely likeable person.
He was generous and so courageous, something we should all strive for.
He helped so many people with his tireless effort in rendering assistance, almost 24-7, when needed.
May his soul rest in peace!

A high school friend of mine recently told me about something strange he saw at the Tampa International Airport. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) told the airport that they needed to adjust the runway signs since the compass points were significantly off due to the magnetic North Pole shifting position.
What is going on here? Is the magnetic pole shifting unusual? Is the shifting related at all to the strange bird and fish deaths that have been reported recently? The answer is probably no to both questions. According to Al Blasko, senior graphic artist here at AccuWeather (who drew the graphic below) and is also a huge astronomy fan, “the magnetic North Pole shifts all the time. Sometimes it is a temporary shift and sometimes semi-permanent. It can shift up to hundreds of miles in a short time and then shift back almost to where it was just as fast. It is a very unpredictable phenomena.”
The FAA told Tampa International that, on average, the magnetic North Pole is shifting 40 miles per year towards Russia. According to FAA spokesman Paul Takemoto “You want to be absolutely precise in your compass headings. To make sure the precision is there that we need, you have to make these changes.”

FAA spokeswoman Kathleen Bergin chimed in “Aviation is charted using latitude and longitude and the magnetic poles. And since the Earth’s poles are changing constantly, especially when they change more than three degrees of latitude or longitude, that can affect runway numbering.”
In the near future, two other runways will need to be adjusted in Tampa. It is not known whether other U.S. airports will have to adjust their compass points as well, though I would not be surprised if some do.

A group of more than 100 scientists and experts say in a new report that California faces the risk of a massive “superstorm” that could flood a quarter of the state’s homes and cause $300 billion to $400 billion in damage. Researchers point out that the potential scale of destruction in this storm scenario is four or five times the amount of damage that could be wrought by a major earthquake.
It sounds like the plot of an apocalyptic action movie, but scientists with the U.S. Geological Survey warned federal and state emergency officials that California’s geological history shows such “superstorms” have happened in the past, and should be added to the long list of natural disasters to worry about in the Golden State.
The threat of a cataclysmic California storm has been dormant for the past 150 years. Geological Survey director Marcia K. McNutt told the New York Times that a 300-mile stretch of the Central Valley was inundated from 1861-62. The floods were so bad that the state capital had to be moved to San Francisco, and Governor Leland Stanford had to take a rowboat to his own inauguration, the report notes. Even larger storms happened in past centuries, over the dates 212, 440, 603, 1029, 1418, and 1605, according to geological evidence.
The risk is gathering momentum now, scientists say, due to rising temperatures in the atmosphere, which has generally made weather patterns more volatile.
The scientists built a model that showed a storm could last for more than 40 days and dump 10 feet of water on the state. The storm would be goaded on by an “atmospheric river” that would move water “at the same rate as 50 Mississippis discharging water into the Gulf of Mexico,” according to the AP. Winds could reach 125 miles per hour, and landslides could compound the damage, the report notes.
Such a superstorm is hypothetical but not improbable, climate researchers warn. “We think this event happens once every 100 or 200 years or so, which puts it in the same category as our big San Andreas earthquakes,” Geological Survey scientist Lucy Jones said in a press release.

Hey there, I wanted to share with you about a UFO I saw on Thanksgiving night. I walked out to my car around 8 pm Thursday night. It was a very bright starry night, and as I looked up at the stars, I could see a moving black area blocking our the stars. It was very large and very low, and moving very slowly, like a shadow almost. As I focused in on it, I could see that it was curved on the front and had a row of small dim lights around the curved front, more curve and less angular than a boomerang, which is what it at first reminded me of. As I continued to focus on it, I could make out the shape of the back of it as also being curved, but inward. It kind of reminded me of a manta ray as it moves through water, just dark shadowy. I watched it for several minutes until it was out of viewing range. The only reason I saw it at all was because it was such a clear starry night that the area of stars being blacked out by the object as it moved highlighted it.

I attached a crude illustration I made. Any other reports on anything like this?

Long Count: 12.19.17.11.0 Expedition Overview

The Apocalypse Island 2010 Eclipse Expedition was an incredible experience
that continues to generate new ideas and revelations about the island Sun God monument.
This newsletter will be a short overview of my activities while I was on the expedition
and a visual guide to the stunning scenery of this island. The photo below shows our
small plane banking into the final approach to the island airstrip. At the center of the
photo is the location of our dangerous beach landing in the History Channel movie.

The satellite image above shows the island airport. My GPS waypoint recorded
an elevation of 113 meters (370 feet) above sea level which makes for a dramatic
approach from both air and sea. The lower left shows the outlines of the Tio Tomas and
our small orange rowboat in the movie. One camera was set atop the cliffs.

The airport has recently had its
airstrip upgraded. The photo above
shows the old runway crossing the new
airstrip at an angle. As shown at left, the
old runway terminated in a ramp, to help
slow down the landing planes or give the
departing planes a little extra speed.
Landing on the island has always been a
part of the adventure!

The satellite image above shows the locations of a dozen GPS waypoints that I
took at various locations on the island and which I emailed as an attachment to the last
volume of the newsletter. After arriving at the airport we disembarked in a pair of boats
sailing around the north shore of the island to the village of San Juan Bautista and
Cumberland Bay which Pedro’s Cabin overlooks.

Later I visited the site of
the archeological dig that
produced charcoal from
the time of Chan Bahlum
below the Spanish fort
where the main river
enters the sea. The area
was stripped of houses by
the tsunami so further
excavations might be
easier to undertake.

After reaching the monument and camping in the debris field for two days, I saw
the eclipse poke out through a cloudy sky and illuminate the monument (at top right).

As I departed from the monument near the end of the eclipse I captured the image
above looking up toward the jaguar side of the monument. This photo captures one of
my favorite aspects of the jaguar, the tail wrapped around its right flank. The Aztec
jaguar below left shows the jaguar’s tail wrapped around the same side. But the way the
tail protrudes above the monument’s spine reminds me more of the Egyptian depictions
of lions, such as the Double Lion God Aker shown below right. On a related note, this
Egyptian god is the guardian of the sunrise and sunset. Between the lions is the akhet
symbol which represents the horizon on which the sun rises or sets. The Mayan jaguar
monument stares westward at the horizon where the sun sets and where the final days of
the Mayan Great Cycle of 5,125 years will promise cosmic spectacles to end the age.

When I was about 10 or 11 my little buddies and I got a hold of an old Ouija board – the most dangerous kind – a lot of strange past energies had flowed through it. Of course we kids hardly knew what it was; we were totally innocent of the ways of the “board”. That is what probably saved us – we just had no fear, and fear is the vehicle evil entities use to draw you in and take what they want. We played several times and we definitely seemed to be communicating with something – strange feelings of hot and cold ran through our bodies. And what little body hair we had stood straight up. I now feel the beings we were dealing with meant us no harm – we were lucky. The other ones would have created fear sooner or later and our innocence in this world would have ended. We were also lucky to escape a worse fate – one of my friend’s sister’s friends had (at least we were told) a mental breakdown after she used an Ouija by herself. If you have to play or try it (like a curiosity) never do it alone as the danger will be focused on just you. And you would probably be no match for the otherworldly entities.

I lived in Tucson for several years and I met a guy I referred to as the Old Hippie. He was a smart guy, who had a very wonderful and smart wife. Both of them were very curious about everything in the world including drugs and the “board”. Well he seemed to not have a problem with it (Ouija), but over time she became withdrawn and depressed. My Hippie friend told me a few years later that she told him the board had come to her (a dream) and showed her something that terrified her, nearly putting her into shock. She was never the same, and no therapy seemed to help her.

And then there was the famous and strange group called the Gulf Breeze 6. I lived in Atlanta when it happened and I was lucky to get a close relative to talk in front of our UFO group about his brother’s experience – a one Vance Davis. This information back in the early 90’s was to say the least mind blowing. Six military personnel from an intelligence unit started playing with an Ouija board. This one event rushed the military into a massive search for these six deserters who had gotten channeled information through the “board”. The Board predicted events that came true and freaked out the military, because the military probably started the whole thing through some powerful mind control methods. And adding the “board” intensified the deserters’ psychic abilities to the horror of the military and the NSA. There is much more to this story – but another time.

Note: the Ouija is not just a board – but also a vehicle to travel to the beyond, which needs only to be used by a few who can totally protect their minds and souls.

underway. In the introductory email to the last newsletter I announced that the
expedition would not take place due to a lack of funding. After grappling with that
disappointment I realized that I had raised just enough money for the cost of airfare
alone. In a reckless leap of faith I decided that this was an historic opportunity too
important to miss, so I booked the flights and hoped for the best. In a stroke of luck of
cosmic proportions, History Channel aired the Apocalypse Island movie twice on Friday
night, July 25th. In anticipation, I retooled my website home page and added a PayPal
donation button to canvas additional support for the expedition. You can imagine my
stunned surprise when Joe from Las Vegas came through Saturday morning with a pledge
of $10,000! I have been able to dial down my stress, equip myself for the expedition, and
make the final preparations for departure. Many thanks are also in order to my other
supporters who have donated to the cause as well. The adventure continues….
The first leg of the
journey will take me from JFK
airport in New York to Santiago,
Chile on an overnight flight. My
friend Pedro Niada, recently
displaced to Santiago from
Robinson Crusoe Island after the
February tsunami destroyed his
island hostel, will fetch me from
the airport on Sunday, July 4th.
Though we only have a day
together before my flight to the
island, I want to interview him
about his experience surviving the
tsunami with his wife and two
young children. They barely
escaped with their lives but still
dream of returning to the island to
rebuild. Sunday night will be
spent at Pedro’s followed by an
early morning trip the next day to
Tobalaba airfield for the flight to
the island. Pedro was able to
secure for me the last remaining
seat on the plane. I will land on
the island early in the afternoon
and take a boat from the airstrip
to the village where I will spend
the night at Pedro’s old cabin.
Landing at the main dock will be a painful ordeal as I am confronted with the
utter destruction of everything I remember about my beloved island village. While much
of the debris has been cleaned up, the empty landscape will seem surreal, as if it had been
simply wiped clean. Gone is the school, the administrative buildings, the fisherman’s
shacks and all the beautiful hand-built houses that once lined the waterfront. Pedro’s old
cabin sits high above El Palillo, the campground at the far end of the bay where I spent
my first month on the island. I expect my old campsite has also been washed into the sea.
Tuesday, July 6th will be my first full day on the island. I intend to spend the
morning filming the ruined village as well as visiting the old Spanish fort. In front of this
fort, constructed in AD 1750, archeologists recovered charcoal from a depth of 4 feet
below the ground surface. Radiocarbon dating proved that the charcoal was about 1,300
years old, putting it within the Classic era of the kings of Palenque whom I suspect
constructed the monument on the other side of the island. Since the charcoal was not
found in direct association with cultural artifacts the archeologists dismissed it as the
result of a natural occurring forest fire. However, given that their investigation of this
location consisted of only two 1meter-x-1meter excavation pits spaced at a wide interval,
it seems possible that they could have easily missed the cultural material and artifacts that
would have proven a pre-Columbian occupation of the island.
Later in the afternoon on Tuesday I will gear up and begin the long hike over the
volcanic ridge to the other side of the island. Since it is winter in the Southern
Hemisphere the sun will set shortly after 6pm and I will need to be near my camp before
nightfall. My intention is to try to get as close to the monument as possible so that on
Wednesday, the sacred 1 Ahau date of the Mayan tzolkin, I will be able to spend my first
full day at the monument.
The intention of this expedition, besides observing the eclipse, is to explore the
vicinity of the monument and look for some convincing evidence that it is a man-made
structure and not some elaborately impossible cosmically aligned natural rock formation.
One of the more obvious locations for exploration will be in the debris field located along
the southern side of the monument, shown in the bottom right corner of the photo above.
This debris field creates a level half-acre terrace in a landscape otherwise consisting of
steep slopes. The debris field is made up of small rubble likely from the sculpting of the
monument and was observed last year to have partly eroded away exposing deeper layers.
The debris field will be my base camp for the following days while I film, explore
and wait for the eclipse (I can already see where I will hang my hammock!). As part of
my eclipse photography I will be using a custom modified infrared digital camera in an
effort to capture evidence of the ley lines or telluric energy which I discussed in the last
newsletter. In less than two hours I was able to hack a cheap digital camera and convert

The next newsletters will detail the results of the Eclipse Expedition and the

First a little “board” history. It was born surprising here in the USA, not in some dark castle in old Europe. In the 1870’s a carpenter named E.C. Reich built the first wooden “board”. But I believe its first conceptional appearance could have been back as far as the early Egyptians. Then around and about 1886, E.C. sold his concept and his board to two guys named Kennard and Maupin and they started marketing the Ouija. Next a Mr. Bill Fuld bought the business and he and his brother made lots of money over the next 35 years with their Ouija board business. Interestingly, Fuld may have committed suicide at the age of 57. The board, or a jealous close relative? Only the “board” knows. Then in 1942 the Fuld family sold the board to the game giant Parker Brothers who still own the rights.

So over the last 140 years people all over the world have been playing with this vehicle.
And I believe 90% of the time no harm comes to the participants. Now the 10%, which many would debate is a very high number, but I say yes, it is one of the dangers; a 10% chance of getting your mind screwed into another world with no way back is something to note. So the more you play it, the more the roulette wheel turns and the closer to the void you come. Another issue is it is quite addictive, the thrill of the unknown and the possible glimpse of a spirit will keep you coming back.

So what is happening here? Well I believe several things: one, as we play with the board we ask questions of the entities who lie normally at a safe distance from us in their world plane. By asking questions we are inviting them in to our world and they love to visit. That would not be so bad but they like to take bits of stuff back with them. Some of the stuff they take are memories from the most vulnerable players of the game. And who are the most vulnerable ones? They are the ones with the most fear in their hearts and minds.
Also a law between worlds is that you must balance out the worlds and leave something behind in the world you take from. So normal human memories are taken and replaced by non-human thoughts. I’m talking about looking into the void, a very dark void at that.

People whose minds are filled with fear are in danger of losing a bit of their sanity if they play with the board – “ the Board will play you.”

Since I was a child I have seen UFOs. The first one I saw was in broad daylight, your typical flying saucer type, skipping back and forth across the Sandia mountains at a high rate of speed. The one thing out of the normal (so far as UFO sightings go) was that it was red, instead of the typical metallic or greyish color. My grandmother had also seen it and for some reason was totally terrified by it. It is too late to ask now, but since I have become an adult I have always wondered why she felt that way. As for myself, I was amazed and happy to see it.

So have been most of my sightings. The only one I remember being afraid during was one night, probably about 10 years ago. It was winter and we had a hell of a snow storm going on, but the snow had finally slowed and it was so pretty out that Britton (my SO) and I decided to take a walk in the snow.

We live outside town and in comparison most of the houses are fairly far apart. Nobody seemed to be awake or have their lights on. There are no street lights out here, so you can spot lights in people’s houses pretty easily.

Let me mention it was about 3 in the morning and right before this I had been listening to what was then “The Art Bell Show.” I don’t remember exactly who was on, but someone that was an “expert” on alien abduction. As I recall, I had been listening while on the computer and Britton had not been listening.

The sky was not visible that night. The clouds were very low and thick.

We walked not very far from our house, what would probably be about 2 or 3 houses away in a typical neighborhood. Then suddenly the sky lit up in a perfect circle over our canyon and there was no sound from whatever lit it up. I know people often use the term “football field” to describe size — this circle was at least a football field. The clouds were so thick that you couldn’t see anything above them, all you could see was this light shining down. For some reason that scared the crap out of me and Britton too. We both stood there talking back forth, scared out of out minds and then suddenly the light went out. We decided that we should just go home and were about to turn back when the light came on again. I can’t really describe how scared I was, but I was really scared. It went out within a few seconds and we headed home, where I automatically checked the clocks to see if there was missing time and thankfully there was none, at least didn’t seem to be, about 15 minutes had passed since we left.

I can’t tell you why that sighting scared me when others haven’t. Maybe because it was at night and my others were during daylight or because I had been listening to Art Bell right before it. Maybe it was because it wasn’t actually a sighting and I couldn’t see the thing the light was coming from.

I always wonder why people react differently to UFO sightings, some are amazed while others are terrified and maybe there just isn’t a logical answer for that. I suppose given a slight difference in circumstance any of us could be amazed or terrified.?

First, how did these slabs get to this farm field? The stories vary; I will tell you what I have heard and the more official version. In 1980 a man with, I believe, the alias name of R.C. Christian, came to a small bank in Elberton, talked with the bank agent named Wyatt Martin. R.C., opened an account in the bank with instructions to Wyatt to how the money would be distributed to various contractors who would work on the project. I understand RC met with Wyatt two or three times during the project. R.C. also met with the stoneworkers who would construct his “Age of Reason” monument.
The four vertical slabs had R.C.’s rules of reason such as:
1. Rule the world with tempered reason.
2. Avoid petty laws and useless officials
3. Prize love, truth, and beauty
4. Don’t be a cancer on the earth
5. Leave room for nature
6. Seek harmony with all
7. Call for the limit the population to 500 million people.
I can’t say I disagree with any of the above. Of course people will take this into many directions such as satanic and totalitarian. And others will say its just common sense.

These rules are written in eight different languages and the capstones are written in ancient languages such as Egyptians hieroglyphics, Cuneiform, Sanskrit and Old Greek.
The stones themselves are a cosmic clock using the sun and stars to track time. As I have visited these pillars, I felt a low level vibration from the ground, like its message is being resourced from Mother Earth.

It’s very peaceful to sit by the stone-crop-circles in the middle of a cornfield. On one of my trips to the Guidestones I went into Elberton and talked to the locals about the pillars of stone. One old guy told me that the banker who dealt with the mysterious man named K.C., the banker was caught off guard with the appearance Mr. K.C. He was all dressed in black with white pasty skin and talked a bit mechanical.

So now to my theory, one of my past interests in the UFO field was those crazy guys called men in black and there were even a few female types. But as some know and I believe these MIBs are not human. In my over one thousand interviews with people that had UFO encounters, 1 out of 5 also had a man or women in black contact. But something happened in 1980, MIB contact seemed to stop, that was also the year the Guidestones were built. Could the construction of this monument be the last message of warning from the MIBs before they moving on to another world? This is a interesting concept but speculative, but one thing I do know I would not want to be the person or persons who has been vandalizing the Guidestones because from the contactee information I have gathered over the years the MIBs could really mess with you if you cross them.

SAN LUIS, Colo. (AP) – A creepy string of calf mutilations in southern Colorado has a rancher and sheriff’s officials mystified.

Four calves were found dead in a pasture just north of the New Mexico state line in recent weeks. The dead calves had their skins peeled back and organs cleared from the rib cage. One calf had its tongue removed.

But rancher Manuel Sanchez has found no signs of human attackers, such as footprints or ATV tracks. And there are no signs of an animal attack by a coyote or mountain lion. Usually predators leave pools of blood or drag marks from carrying away the livestock.

Two officers from the Costilla County Sheriff’s Office have investigated the mutilations but say they don’t know what’s killing the calves.

“There’s nothing really to go by,” said Sanchez, who’s ranched for nearly 50 years. “I can’t figure it out.”

A spokesman for the sheriff’s office told The Pueblo Chieftain that investigators doubt a person butchered the calves because there is no blood at the scene.

“I’ve butchered a cow before and I know what kind of a mess it leaves,” Sgt. James Chavez said.

Some in the area believe the mutilations are the work of aliens. An area UFO chaser, Chuck Zukowski of Colorado Springs, has been to the Costilla County pasture to investigate.

He told the paper there have been other unexplained calf mutilations in the area, including three in March. One of the other calves, found dead on a ranch near Trinidad, had its ears removed, Zukowski said.

“We’re trying as much as we can to find a pattern,” said Zukowski, who runs a UFO Web site called ufonut.com.

Sanchez said he has sold off his 32 remaining calves out of fear more would be mutilated. He hasn’t decided how he’ll manage the remaining 40 animals in his herd.

“It’s a big loss for a small rancher,” he said.
