Dimensional Walking Rainbow Radaelli, Truth Seeker Forum

Diaries are full of treasures, especially those forgotten over time. As I started to read my diary, page
after page revealed a world I let slip by. I’m going
to share with you just a snippet of a life and time in the
medicine world.

While the Medicine Man ThunderBow wasn’t always
easy to understand, he told me how being aware in the
waking state affected the dream state, which seemed to
make sense. I looked back at my diary and saw that we
had called the dream state “dimensional walking.” It
knocked my socks off, the very fact I had forgotten this
and so many other experiences.

Dimensional walking was introduced to me when I
was just 20. At first it seemed like too much discipline,
and that was the last thing I wanted to do, especially with
just being a few years out of high school. I wanted to
spread my wings and be totally free of any kind of discipline. ThunderBow would just smile as I would give
excuse after excuse as to why that didn’t appeal to me, but
it seemed like he was always a few steps ahead of me, patiently waiting, knowing I would eventually come around.

Something was still coming at me in my dreams. I
would wake up scared, sometimes scream or talk in my
sleep. He would pat my shoulder and let me know everything
was OK. I was safe, and he would mumble a few words
in a prayer and usually, this put me at ease and I would fall
back asleep. It was nerve-racking, and even as the days
were long in the waking state, my nights were just the
same. I could feel something out of reach, out of eyesight,
and out of my understanding ready to pounce on me.

ThunderBow said that whatever this was knew I
was a medicine woman long before I knew or even had
an inkling that this path was even a possibility. I always
wondered why he would smirk because it was never very
funny to me. I would feel as if I was running ahead of
myself in my dreams, and as I would catch up to myself,
I would see a scary monster. There’s nothing scarier than
thinking you are the monster you are running from.

At my wit’s end, I finally decided to follow ThunderBow’s instruction and learn how to do dimensional walking.
It seemed quite weird, and I was out of my element at first.
Meditation is not my strong suite because my mind is a
chatterbox with an endless dialogue to keep itself company.
Sometimes there would seem to be multiple whispers going
on at once whenever I would try to quiet myself. It was as if
they would go on autopilot at the hint of any meditation.

To help me learn how to focus on the “now,” ThunderBow arranged for my first sweat lodge with some
friends. He set up a special ceremony for me so that I could understand the importance of discipline and focus.
This was key to me being able to confront this monster or
the dark entity that wouldn’t leave me alone.

It’s important to note that ThunderBow felt I needed
something a bit extreme to kickstart my apprenticeship
into dimensional walking. With that being said, the sweat
lodge was the start of my medicine path. It was an extreme
introduction into a world of the unknown and mysterious
realm of shadows and magic … and did I say hot!
There’s nothing like feeling like your face is falling off
to get your attention. Yes, it was hotter than Hades, and it
lasted what felt like an eternity, which was really just over
an hour. I crawled in the sweat lodge a bit intimidated,
lost and adrift from reality, and crawled out divergent, as
if something had breathed new life into me. I was ready to
start my tutelage into ThunderBow’s dimensional walking,
or so I thought.

Step one was easier than I thought it would be because all I had to do was look for my hands in my dreams.
Things changed quickly when I achieved this. Then I had
to find large hands or hands wearing gloves or rings, etc.
Then came inanimate objects, like bowls or vases that had
designs painted on them. And then he upped the ante and
asked me to find people in certain clothes and colors. Then
I searched for small landscapes and trees. And the hardest
of all for me was looking at the sky and finding clouds.
I found that I mostly saw color, so ThunderBow said
to choose to see in black and white. I didn’t like this because I felt like I would get stuck dreaming in a black-andwhite world. He assured me that I could turn color on just
by intending it like a switch.

The good thing about all my exploration was the monster seemed to stay at bay and I was able to focus harder
on my research into the realm of dimensional walking.
The idea of dimensional walking has everything to do with
your conscious awareness as you go to sleep. It’s not just a
reminder, but an intention to keep the same awareness in
dream time so that the assemblage point (dream body) can
move about as if you never went to sleep.

It’s also about being aware of what’s happening to
your surroundings as you sleep. Being out of the body
and traversing into unknown dimensions was only part
of it. I had to be aware of my body back in my bed in my
repose position.
It was when I was at the two-year mark that something
quite terrifying happened that changed everything. I can remember to this day how empowered I felt at first, and then
the stark reality hit me of being completely vulnerable and
unprepared for the consequences of what I was doing.

ThunderBow said my next goal was to find a movie
theater. So I went to bed and focused on finding a movie theater. It took a few weeks, but one night within what seemed
minutes of falling asleep, I was sitting in the theater with other
people. I felt the seat, heard the music playing in the background, and I smelled popcorn. The movie hadn’t started
yet, so I was just sitting by myself staring at a huge white
screen. I then remembered to come back to my body, wake
up, and then go back to sleep and go right back to my seat in
the movie theater. I did it and was elated the next morning.

The following night ThunderBow wanted me to find
rocks to walk on and look for a village or small town. I
think he suggested somewhere like the English countryside. I thought that would be quite interesting, so I went
into my place of quietude and ventured onwards. At first
I remembered almost popping into a rocky place and
smelling the dirt. It was almost like I was literally in the
country. I looked around me, and there were large trees
and bushes on a slanting hill.

I was facing a hill full of rocks that seemed easy
enough to climb, so I started putting my hands on the
rocks and pulling myself up. As I was climbing up the
rock incline, I started to feel tingling in my hands and
arms. As I reached the top of the rocky hillside, I saw a
country house in the distance, and that’s when I got a big
whiff of the dirt, flowers, and tiny shrubs up my nose.
I felt the wind on my face, and my hair was blowing to
the side. It was the first time I had ever felt the wind, and
the shock of it and all the smells in my nostrils made me
feel dizzy.

I then saw this auroral glimmer go into my hands and
up my arms. I felt as if I was coming alive with this wash
of scintillating energy, and I knew without a shadow of a
doubt that if I didn’t get out of there, I would have fully
integrated into the very location I was at. It no longer felt
like a dream, but more like an actual place.
I remember thinking to myself, is this dimension like
back home? When I could feel the cool dirt beneath my
hands, I freaked out and pushed away from the rocks.
I started to slide down forgetting that I was on a rocky
slope, yelling and grabbing for branches to slow my fall.

Then I slowly woke up. I knew something weird had happened because there was a little bit of dirt on my sheets
and under my fingernails. This was a first.
I realized that what I had done seemed beyond me,
and when I told ThunderBow what happened, he seemed
pleased but very concerned. We had been working
toward something that once attained was a whole other
ballgame.
He had me take a break from dimensional walking
so I could get my bearings back and try again. I never did
allow myself after that to go as far into another realm. I
held myself back and just couldn’t yield to the dangers of
uncharted territory.

I know the rules here in this reality, but to do the
dimensional walking I realized that there weren’t any
handbooks on what to do if you find yourself lost in
another realm. You can’t get cold feet once you are there,
and getting back in itself could be a wild ride

Last but not least, I did the one thing I needed to do.
Remember the monster hidden in the shadows of my
dreams? Well, I confronted it. ThunderBow had me find
a mirror, and he said to look into it and tell him what I
saw. It took me awhile — I guess because I was avoiding
it — but when I finally was able to find a mirror and look
into it, I saw a hideous face looking back at me. I started
to back away when something weird started to happen. It
slowly morphed into my face. And there I was left looking
at myself, no monster left insight.

As Medicine Man Black Elk once said, “Sometimes
dreams are wiser than waking.” In my case, I had found
that I had been afraid of myself and my potential.
Philosopher Henri-Frédéric Amiel stated, “Dreams
are excursions into the limbo of things, a semi-deliverance
from human prison.” It was evident I had freed
myself, and I realized that there was so much that dimensional walking could help me figure out and remedy. It
was a key to a self-imposed prison. In some ways, I was
the prison guard.

Dimensional walking was an insight into the deeper
pool of who I really was. I unlearned cultural esthetics that
didn’t feel right and had the courage to develop opinions
that were solely mine. I also saw that there is so much
within myself that is basically uncharted territory.
I have continued at a more cautious level with dimensional walking, and I feel it has integrated into my Third
Eye sense of awareness.

I haven’t looked into another
mirror since that impactful experience. I guess if I have
one question today, it would be, what would my reflection
look like now? I guess I’ll have to find another mirror and
find out.

The Ones Among Us – Part 1- Is it all True Series #357

aliens hiding amongst us

My research has shown me that the world isn’t what it seems, but the world is a complex series of strange events created by strange beings and I am not excluding humans, because they truly are a strange lot.
As we walk through our lives, many miss the very odd, because we cannot perceive or see things that don’t conform to our present existence. There are humanoids that are not humans among us and if you pay attention you can, and will, see them. But realize these sightings may be brief and you will probably question your sanity. Sometimes you may only see this strangeness out of the corner of your eye.

So let me tell you a few of my experiences and a few from other people I know involving these being among us. I have had several of my own. The first one, I was having Thanksgiving dinner at a Golden Corral in Tucson. I was with a few people and after filling my plate up and sitting down to enjoy my feast, out of the corner of my eye was sitting an it/he maybe 10 feet from me and staring at me. He was completely focused on me and I was very uncomfortable. As I looked at him I noticed he had a long thin head and a short neck. As I further checked him out, he had solid black, slightly almond shaped eyes. He never took his eyes off of me and never ate one spoon full of his food. As I finished my dinner and got up, his strange eyes followed me out the door. I waited outside in my car, but he never came out and I never went back in.

Next a friend of mine in Albuquerque had a very interesting bus driver experience. His son would take a public bus to school occasionally, on one occasion he noticed the bus driver had very pale skin, long exaggerated face, and strange eyes, and it/he felt very not human. After seeing the same weird driver a few more times he told his Dad, my friend. My friend was curious and into the UFO scene. So the next week he got on the same bus with his daughter to see if he might catch the same driver. And guess what, he did. My friend sat across and behind the driver. As soon as my friend got in the bus the driver noticed him and while the bus was moving forward it/he/she turned and stared at him for about 1 and ½ miles down the street, safely guiding the bus through stop lights, and dropping off and picking up passengers. To top it off, no one else seemed to notice this event on the bus. What the bus driver did was an amazing feat, even for an alien.

Sleep tight, part two will have more experiences to share, and pay attention for you might see the unthinkable or the improbable.

The Gift of Meeting Clark McClelland-Is it all True Series # 348

Rainbow’s thoughts…

To read and hear about the word “whistleblower,” brings to mind the unimaginable and daunting task it must be to be in the constant line of fire. To be called, dishonest, a disinformation agent, crazy or a conspiracy nut, are only a few of the names carried on the shoulders of such brave men and women. The stigma never goes away and the weight of its meaning can debilitate the heart and soul of any individual who should voluntarily, carry its burden. One such whistleblower, Clark McClelland has walked the walk of a truthseeker, enduring hardships and ill health and yet, fearlessly carrying on with his message, a message that has not changed through the course of time.

Looking into Clark’s eyes, it was easy to see his convictions glimmering through his eyes, they never faltered not even with his bouts with intense physical pain that he endured throughout our visit. Images, stories and friendships all merged together becoming clear and comprehensible, as Clark explained each account of his life and those close to him. I sat across from Clark wishing things were different for him and thinking that if a man like him can be taken down to poverty, are there no limits to what “these” people can do.

It’s different when you see, intelligence and passion slowly ebbing away from a weakened body. It’s different when you see a whistleblower face to face and you know there isn’t much you can do to help them. I realized I could only give Clark my support and admiration but in the scheme of things, this feels like so little. Maybe friendship becomes more important to a whistleblower because the road they walk can become very lonely.

Interestingly enough, Clark gave me a gift without me even realizing it at first. One day thinking back about our wonderful dinner, I finally understood what makes history happen. Its men and women like Clark McClelland, who are willing to take on the modern Goliaths of our time, just like the unassuming David did. Perhaps if we are lucky, whistleblowers like Clark will be victorious in not just seeking the truth but in getting it out to the masses. Its truth that changes history but the real question is, can society handle the truth.

Now this is Mike speaking, I have read that he is a liar, a hoax and a con man. Rainbow and I sat with him, he is none of the above. We saw him and we saw his evidence maybe not all but more than enough to call him the real thing. The game of the government is to discredit him as the patriot he is.

As Rainbow has stated, Clark lives in a state of poverty, so I am asking you to go to his site and buy something, anything. Get a piece of history and support this man. Just buy a chapter of his book for a couple of bucks, anything helps to keep this man alive and maybe recover to a more normal life.

His site is http://www.stargate-chronicles.com/site/ or google “stargate chronicles”

Thank You

My Life Manifesto — Sandy Penny

SandyPennyMy Life Manifesto
by Sandy Penny, 2-2-2015

I never wanted to compete with others, only with myself. Even as a child, I wanted to create cooperation, not competition. Growing up with nine brothers and sisters was competition enough. I wanted to learn something new every day, and I have. I have always strived to be better at the things I choose to do, to improve processes, to innovate, to organize. I have always endeavored to leave a job better than I found it. I subscribed to the old adage, if a thing is worth doing, it is worth doing well. I intend each day to ask myself if I’m living from love or fear, and to always choose love.

I hope, when I leave this world, that I have had a positive impact on those I’ve known, and that I have done as little harm as is humanly possible. I intend, every day, as Ghandi advised, to be the love I want to see in the world, to treat others with kindness, compassion and respect. I intend to leave every person with whom I interact feeling better than when we met, without attachment and expectations. If one person has been helped by me, if I have lifted anyone’s suffering, made anyone smile, then I have lived a life worth living. And, for myself, I want only to be the highest and best expression my soul intends for my earthly life, knowing that when I leave this world, I feel complete with each and every sacred relationship I forged, and every relationship is sacred.

I commit to using and fulfilling the purpose of each chakra, each energy center within me, to express the colors of the rainbow that is me. I open myself to the golden connection that is my crown chakra, that I may bring more spirit into matter. I connect with the source of all light and open my inner and outer vision that I may see myself, others, my life, and the world clearly and through the love that manifests all creation. I connect with the source of all words and align my voice with the voice of love and joy. I align my mind with the universal consciousness that I may raise my thoughts to higher realms and transcend all negativity of the human consciousness, that I may think in more creative ways, that I may inspire higher thinking through all that I touch, that I may express right thought, right speech and right action for each and every situation I encounter, that I may share wisdom when needed. I clarify and align my feelings and emotions with unconditional love that I may create sacred partnerships throughout my life, knowing that all relationships are sacred and deserve love and compassion. I align and restore my physical body to the perfection in which it was created that I may walk this earth, strong and healthy, and follow my own path on my own journey of spirit flowing into matter and matter returning to spirit, a conduit of love, light, joy and completion.

As I awoke this morning, these thoughts were running through me, and I wanted to write them down, to remind myself that this is my life creed, and that I intend to live it fully, and I am. I am a spark of infinite love emanating from the unlimited stream of love divine. I am a bubbling spring of joy and wisdom to quench the thirst of all who drink it in. As I intend, so shall it be, for intention inspires action, and action creates and manifests. I am creator, manifestor and the artist of my own life.

Divine love, through me, blesses and multiplies all the good I am, all the good I have, and all the good I share. And so it is, and I am grateful.

TREE HUGGING NOW SCIENTIFICALLY VALIDATED– NATURAL HEALING

tree hug
WRITTEN BY THE EDITORIAL STAFF ON 28 DECEMBER 2012. POSTED IN NATURAL HEALING

Die hard conservatives love to disparage liberals as tree huggers, but it has been recently scientifically validated that hugging trees is actually good for you. Research has shown that you don’t even have to touch a tree to get better, you just need to be within its vicinity has a beneficial effect.

In a recently published book, Blinded by Science, the author Matthew Silverstone, proves scientifically that trees do in fact improve many health issues such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), concentration levels, reaction times, depression and other forms of mental illness. He even points to research indicating a tree’s ability to alleviate headaches in humans seeking relief by communing with trees.

The author points to a number of studies that have shown that children show significant psychological and physiological improvement in terms of their health and well being when they interact with plants and trees. Specifically, the research indicates that children function better cognitively and emotionally in green environments and have more creative play in green areas. Also, he quotes a major public health report that investigated the association between green spaces and mental health concluded that “access to nature can significantly contribute to our mental capital and wellbeing”.

So what is it about nature that can have these significant effects? Up until now it has been thought to be the open green spaces that cause this effect. However, Matthew Silverstone, shows that it is nothing to do with this by proving scientifically that it is the vibrational properties of trees and plants that give us the health benefits and not the open green spaces.

The answer to how plants and trees affect us physiologically turns out to be very simple. It is all to do with the fact that everything vibrates in a subtle manner, and different vibrations affect biological behaviours. One research experiment showed that if you drink a glass of water that has been treated with a “10Hz vibration” your blood coagulation rates will change immediately on ingesting the treated water. It is the same with trees, when touching a tree its different vibrational pattern will affect various biological behaviours within your body.

This vibrational idea is backed up throughout the book by a number of scientific studies to provide convincing proof that tree hugging after all is not such a crazy idea. One report even concluded the following: “safe, green spaces may be as effective as prescription drugs in treating some forms of mental illnesses”.

There is one other school of thought are in alignment with this remarkable theory: Taoism. For example, the Taoist master Mantak Chia teaches students to meditate with trees, as a way of release “negative energies.” In his Cosmic Tree Healing Qigong method, Master Chia teaches how to align one’s body with the “aura” (or energetic field) of a tree. He explains that trees are natural processors that can help you transform your body’s sick or negative energy into positive, vital life force energy. As you connect your energy with the tree you facilitate your own physical and emotional healing. The Taoist theory is that because trees stand very still, they are better at absorbing the Earth’s Energy and the Universal Force from the Heavens. Trees and all plants have the ability to absorb the light frequencies and transform them into physical food; and they do the same with energetic food. The Taoist view of trees is to see them constantly in meditation, with subtle energy as their natural language.

One other fascinating laboratory that studies plant vibrational energies is Damanhur, an intentional community in Italy. In this peaceful and spiritual ecovillage there is a laboratory in the woods that offers a beautiful choir of singing trees. Yeah, you read that right… singing trees. Since 1976, researchers at Damanhur have invented and developed equipment that can capture electromagnetic changes on the surface of leaves and roots, transforming them into actual sounds. The best part is, these trees seem to control their electrical responses via a feedback mechanism, and demonstrate a kind of awareness and preference for types of music. The singing plants and trees of Damanhur have sparked off such a worldwide fascination that the people began organizing “Plant Concerts”, where musicians perform to the music created by the trees.

Dear Friends,

Many people feel justified in being angry for any number of reasons. But little do they realize how anger affects their health, relationships and how they go through life. Below are some of the ways anger impacts us and what some alternative choices might be.

Anger and its Impact

To understand anger, we must first address why we get angry in the first place. We get angry when our expectations are not met. We justify our anger when someone does not meet our expectations, do as we ask them to do, when they ignore us or tune us out and do other things that annoy us.

We all have expectations for ourselves, others, and life. Often we need to look at these expectations and consider if they are too high or unrealistic. When our expectations for ourselves do not get met, we land up feeling like a failure even if others see us as a success. For example, if you expected to get a 100 on a test and only got 95, you will be disappointed. Why do this to yourself? We cannot be perfect all the time. Once we can accept that, life becomes much easier.

Perfectionists have a difficult time to adjust their standards as things will not look right to them unless they are exactly the way they want them to be. This makes others around them feel that they are failing in your eyes because they cannot meet your standards nor keep up with you. In addition, you may land up doing everything yourself because of your perfectionism and then feel angry because of the lack of support you receive from others. It is best to strive to be imperfect.

Some people use their anger as a destructive force, projecting it onto others in the form of blame to justify wrong acts of their own. When life does not work out the way we want, we say life is unfair and blame God and others for our losses or misfortunes, because we do not want to take responsibility for our actions.

Some people use their creativity in a destructive manner that can lead to unexpected and irrational violence and abuse. Angry people often take out their anger on others like the husband who beats his wife because she burnt the toast.

When people abuse us or do things we cannot abide, we feel justified in our anger. This can lead to our being unwilling or unable to forgive them. When we cannot forgive, our anger creates an energy link that chains us to the other person. We will only be freed from this chain when we can forgive others as well as ourselves.

Anger challenges us to be more accepting of people as they are regardless of what they have done or failed to do. It is not our job to sit in judgment of others or to transform them into what we believe would be best. If we have difficulty to accept them as they are, then perhaps it is time to look within for why we feel this way, as it may stem from a lack of acceptance of ourselves.

Anger can take numerous forms such as disappointment, criticism, sarcasm, intolerance, passive/aggressive behavior, hostility, negativity, and verbal and physical abuse. Anger often masks our feelings of loss and grief. It saps our energy causing us to feel depressed. Depression is anger turned inwards. When we feel depressed, we take pills to reduce our anxiety and fear rather than deal with our feelings.

Anger, no matter its manifestation, creates distance in relationships as who wants to be around an angry, critical person or have anger dumped on them, especially if that anger escalates to violence or physical abuse. People who do not love themselves allow others to dump anger on them because of their feelings of low self- esteem. Otherwise they would find a way to stand up to themselves or leave the relationship.

Some folks take on other people’s problems because they are looking for an outlet for their anger, which they are unable to express. For example, they can get heavily involved with a neighbor’s problems that are none of their concern.

Anger can act as a motivator especially when the person on the receiving end of someone’s anger comes to a point where they can take it no longer. In a moment of anger, they just let the truth fly, which they might not have done with more time for reflection. While expressing their feelings is a good thing, especially if they have difficulty to do so, it is not really the best way to go about it. Best to say how you feel when you are calm.

Some people use honesty as a club to express their anger. They justify saying the most terrible things by saying “I was just trying to be honest.” They never ask if you want their opinion or their honesty, as they call it, they just hit you over the head with it. They usually derive a great deal of satisfaction from doing this because they have now released the hostile feelings they feel towards you.

Some people take out their anger through sports, excessive exercise, with their fists or reckless driving, while others drown their anger with excessive drinking, eating, smoking or taking recreational drugs. These methods resolve nothing but can lead to further health and emotional problems.

Anger can affect our health. Continual or suppressed anger causes a build-up of toxins in body, which then attracts water and causes excessive weight gain and illness. The liver is a processing plant that rids the body of toxins. When it can no longer do its job effectively because of amount of toxins in the body created by anger overwhelms its capacity, it starts to malfunction and can eventually lead to liver disease. Remember, when you are angry, the toxins remain in your body and not with the person with whom you are angry.

Denying our anger always keeps us victims of our behavior. Anger is really a waste of energy that could be better spent elsewhere. Releasing our anger helps to clear our energy field of blockages and our body of toxins allowing us to have better health. It is like opening a door to let in fresh air. If we deny our anger, we only deceive ourselves as others are aware of it.

Anger is not love no matter how justified we feel for being angry. When we express our anger, we believe we still love the person with whom we are angry. We are focused on our letting our anger out and never concern ourselves with how the person on whom we are venting our anger feels. They often feel like a victim or a whipping post which causes them to become angry themselves.

Dumping anger or blaming others is not love. It is more loving to tell a person you are angry with them for some behavior or a specific reason to let them know how you feel and why. This provides an opportunity to discuss the situation and hopefully find a solution. Just being angry and not saying why, provides no such opportunity. Some people may conclude that you do not like them because of your anger.

If you tell yourself that there is nothing you can do about your anger because you cannot change yourself, the situation or the behavior of others, you are incorrect. You can always change how you choose to respond to situations or people. You can look at your expectations and see if they are realistic. You can look within and see what causes you to feel angry and change your attitude. You can also be forgiving of yourself and others.

Anger is a lower vibrational energy and is not compatible with the energy of fourth and fifth dimensional consciousness, which is one of oneness and love for yourself and others. If you want to evolve, you must address your anger issues as they will hold you back.

February 2013 Knowledge Newsletter–Sharon Cheney

Sharon
Dear Friends,

Many people are concerned with money issues. The current downturn in the economy does not mean we cannot create abundance and joy in our lives. But in order to do so we need to understand our relationship to money and overcome any beliefs that may be impeding us.

Our Relationship to Money

Surprisingly our family of origin is often the source of our ideas about money. The family values we learnt in childhood usually remain with us throughout our lives. For example, did your family tell you that money was the root of all evil suggesting that if you made a lot of money your moral values would go astray? Did your family distinguish between people who had money and those who didn’t as if they were two different species? Do you feel you are a disappointment or a failure if you don’t earn a lot? Did your family tell you that unless you were financially successful, you would never be anyone of importance even if you were a supportive partner, a good friend and loving parent? Take a moment to examine your family’s values and notice if they are still impacting you today.

Money is an extension of the feelings we hold about ourselves. If you do not love yourself, you land up spending too much, having too much debt, being unable to save, being vague about the finances you do possess, undercharging for your work, hating to deal with money, and not wanting to be responsible for managing your finances. How you deal with money is the same as how you deal with life.

Craving money is rooted in the craving for love which starts in childhood. People who crave money will never have enough no matter how much they own until they learn to love themselves. Feeling angry is related to feeling betrayed, violated or disappointed in childhood. People who are angry pay their bills late, hate paying taxes, are annoyed at those who earn more than they do and are generally pissed off at themselves for the state of their finances.

People, who feel shame keep bouncing checks, are ashamed about their debt, don’t know where their money goes and are embarrassed by their low income. People who feel abandoned tend to owe people money as they believe that this way they will never be forgotten by those to whom they are indebted. They often feel they were taken advantage of in a divorce or in other financial situations.

People who feel unloved and unnoticed will desire attention. They spend beyond their means to get attention from others. Some people use money to control others and act out their passive aggressive feelings. People who want to get rescued may suffer from deprivation in order to look needy. Other people have a mentality of “them and us.” They want to have more money and yet feel resentful towards those who do. Whenever they compare themselves to rich people, they see themselves as inadequate.

All behavior serves a purpose whether we are conscious of this or not. Sometimes we allow ourselves to go into debt because we don’t want to examine our feelings and their relationship to money and so we stay in denial instead. Many of us are afraid to talk about money because it is really like talking about our issues. Some do not want to expose themselves because they fear criticism and judgment. It is almost impossible to create abundance if you have a poor relationship with money.

It would help if you change the statement in your head to “I need more loving people rather than I need more money” because our relationship to money is attached to our relationship to people. Since the issues from our childhood are usually running our life and money management, perhaps it is wise to put your adult in charge of your finances and not your rebellious teenager who says “Don’t tell me what to do. I can do whatever I want.”

Becoming aware of your beliefs and changing them will change how you perceive yourself and your financial outlook. Financial success requires that you be willing to stop acting out habitual emotions through your money habits because you will only continue to create more of the same problems. The goal is to not to have more money but more satisfaction from what you have.

You must realize that more money does not necessarily bring more happiness. Many believe if they had more money they would be happier. More money can buy more stuff but is more stuff really going to change the way you feel inside? Does having more in your bank account change how you feel about yourself?

Contrary to popular belief, statistics show that people with lots of money are not happier. In fact, they worry more about money than those who are don’t have much because they have much more to lose such as their status in society, their lifestyles, and the power and influence money brings. Money does not bring security although it does offer us more choices. You will only feel secure when you feel secure in yourself.

We often give our power away to rich people and project attributes onto them that they do not actually possess. Rich people have as many problems as poor people if not more, but all we can see is how much money they have. Ever notice if rich people have integrity, are honest, show concern for their employees or are a nice person? Ever wonder how they got rich? Many people who have made a lot of money were not always honest in their business dealings. Is this who you want to emulate – a person who takes advantage of others to make a buck and who has no moral conscience? Is all you see is how much they have without looking at who they really are and how they treat others?

Many people suffer from poverty consciousness and believe there will never have abundance in their lives. There is enough abundance in this world for everyone but you need to be open to receiving. Remember our thoughts create our reality so maybe a change in your thinking would be a good plan. Change your repetitive belief that you will never have enough to “I have all the abundance I need and want.” and see how that makes you feel.

What is money really? It is only pieces of paper or numbers that are transferred physically or electronically. There is no energy in a money transaction until it passes between two or more people thereby causing a relationship to form. In reality, a check for $100 does not feel different or weigh more than a check for a $1000 dollars. It is the feelings we project onto the amount that makes the difference.

Many people fantasize about winning the lotto or inheriting a large sum of money. Sudden money often goes as fast as it arrives because a person who never had money has no idea how to manage money and usually just keeps spending until it is all gone.

There are many books and websites with a Get Rich Quick philosophy. They claim to have the secret to making lots of money if you do what they did to get rich. They tell you “If I can do it, so can you.” This is not really true or we would have many more millionaires, but it is good marketing and a way to get you to buy their product. The reason people do not succeed using this strategy is because poor people do not hold the same beliefs about money. They do not believe they are capable of making money and if they don’t believe that, they will never be rich.

Some people are afraid of wealth because they are not comfortable with the idea of being wealthy and they often think they would be unable to manage it. Dreaming about being rich is like the Cinderella fairy tale where she believes once Prince Charming takes her to the castle, her troubles are over. If you are not knowledgeable or comfortable with managing your money, get a financial planner who will help you manage your money and/or pay down your debt.

The book Live Better on Less provides guidelines on how to get more pleasure from life while spending less. You can have security and happiness without spending a lot of money. Happiness is really an inside job and has nothing to do with how much you own or earn. Take a moment to think about a time in your life when you were really happy. Did it have anything to do with how much money you had or did it have more to do with your relationships and how you felt about yourself?

Here are some tricks to having more money. Make a list of all your assets. You might be surprised that when you take everything you own into consideration, you may discover you have more than you think. Being aware of your net worth will not only help you to feel better but may possibly provide assets that you can use to for leverage.

Count your money regularly as money loves to be counted. Do you remember the Disney image of Scrooge counting his gold coins in his money chest and how gleeful he was doing it? You would be amazed at how many people don’t have clue about what they have. All they see is the lack of and not the real value of their assets. The better you are counting and keeping track of your money, the better you will be at making more because your level of trust in yourself will increase. Also keeping a record of where you spend your money can help you to budget realistically and make decisions based on facts rather than hopes.

If you want to make more money, then set realistic goals. Don’t expect to go from earning $30,000 per year to $200,000 a year in one year. It is more realistic to set a goal of making ten to fifteen percent more a year and maintain that goal for the next five years. Saving money is the same as setting a goal to lose weight, stop drinking, or exercising more. We need to be consistent and keep a record of our progress to determine our success or failure.

Most entrepreneurs succeed because they were willing to take a risk but risk taking is not for everyone. You need to assess your comfort level and that includes coping with your fears if things don’t go as planned… Having your own business and owning your own home is not for everyone although many people see that as an accomplishment of the American dream. Some people feel more secure with a salaried job that they can count on. If you are such a person, then the only way up is to increase your skill level through education or training so you can make more money.

Quotes I love

“A nation…cannot survive treason from within…the traitor …wears the face of his victims,…and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation—he works secretly…he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to be feared…….” Cicero, 42 B.C.E.

Citing fears that doomsday believers, curiosity seekers, and “above all” journalists, will flood a French mountaintop on Dec. 21, the supposed day of the Mayan apocalypse, local officials are banning access to the mountain.

The spot, Pic de Bugarach, is rumored to be one of the only safe places on the planet on Dec. 21, according to Raw Story. On that date, a major cycle of the Maya Long Count calendar ends. The calendar is split into several chunks, including 400-year spans called b’ak’tuns. Dec. 21, 2012 on our calendar marks the end of the 13th b’ak’tun and the beginning of a new cycle.

The calendar change would not have been seen as the end of the world by the ancient Maya, scholars agree. But in New Age and other online subcultures, believers have come to expect something major on that day, with predictions ranging from a new dawn of peace and harmony to an explosive doomsday.

..One online rumor holds that on this day of destruction, Pic de Bugarach will open up to reveal an alien spacecraft, which will save believers nearby. That has local officials worried. [ End of the World? Top Doomsday Fears ]

“We are expecting a few visionaries, a few people who believe in this end of the world, but in extremely limited numbers,” state official Eric Freysselinard told Raw Story. “We are expecting greater numbers of people who are just curious, but in numbers we cannot determine. Above all, we are expecting lots of journalists.”

In response, officials will call in 100 police and firefighters on Dec. 21 to seal off approaches to the mountain, Freysselinard told Raw Story.

Other areas are welcoming the doomsday attention. In Belize, the Chaa Creek resort is trying to lure tourists with a seven-day, all-inclusive “Maya Winter Solstice” package, which includes workshops on Maya crafts, traditional Maya garb and names of guests inscribed into a giant stele that will be erected on Dec. 21.

.In Guatamala, the national tourism bureau is organizing all sorts of festivities, including a “New Dawn for Humanity” summit in Tikal, a major ancient Maya city. Elton John, Bruce Springsteen and U2 will provide entertainment.

Mexico is aiming for the action, too, launching a tourism campaign called “Mayan World 2012” and encouraging visitors to seek out sites in southern Mexico, where the ancient Maya once built complex cities. In Cancun, the National Institute of Anthropology and History has opened the enormous “Museo Maya de Cancun,” a museum dedicated to Maya history.
