Nick Redfern Speaks: Paranormal Bigfoot

Why Do So Many Bigfoot Researchers Ignore the Paranormal Side of the Mystery?

Nick RedfernMarch 6, 2021

Just about everyone – whether they believe in it or not – have heard of the phenomenon of Bigfoot. They are, in essence, perceived by believers as North American, unknown apes. Even non-believers know what the creatures are supposed to be. As someone who has a deep interest in the field of Cryptozoology (a posh term for monster-hunting), I’ve spent a lot of time in the woods looking for the creatures – and particularly where the beasts have been seen regularly and still are seen in those same places. Such examples are the Big Thicket of Texas, the Florida Everglades, and the massive Pacific northwest forests. The creatures are said to be huge in size and, given there are sightings all across the USA, there must be thousands of the things. This brings me to the most important aspect of all this: why can’t we catch them? Even one! The fact is that we have never caught one. DNA is always hazy. Photos are never 100 percent perfect. The same goes for footage that is constantly debated. I wouldn’t mind if the creatures were tiny, little apes – creatures that could probably elude us if they were the size of a squirrel. But, as anyone knows, Bigfoot is not the size of a squirrel! The mysterious animals are giants!

If, as the evidence suggests, these creatures are real , then we really should, by now, have solid evidence for their existence. Even if the evidence only equated to just one body. Or, one live creature. But, not even that happens. How can it be we’re always able to get good, solid, undeniable pictures of deer, bears, etc., but when it comes to Bigfoot, there’s always an issue. Then, there’s the matter of the Bigfoot creatures vanishing before the eyes of startled people. I don’t mean them vanishing into the woods and blending in. I’m talking about them literally becoming invisible. I know of a lot of Bigfoot researchers who flatly refuse to believe that the things can vanish in a second. Yet, there are so many such cases on the record.
The late Rob Riggs, who was a dedicated researcher of the Bigfoot mystery, told me of the many and varied cases he’d come across in which witnesses to the Bigfoot had seen small balls of light surrounding the beasts. He also had reports of electrical equipment malfunctioning when the creatures were around. I have eight cases on record where people claim to have had psychic/ESP-style conversations with the things. Eyes, in some cases, change from normal to blazing red. Theories abound that the Bigfoot can leave our reality and stride into other realms of existence – what we might call multi-dimensions. “Worm-holes,” and “multi-dimensions” are among the words that pop up in such situations. The ability of the Bigfoot to affect peoples’ minds by the use of a low-frequency known as infrasound – a phenomenon that can affect the human mind and make people sick – has become a part of the Bigfoot mystery. Short-term memories can be affected by it. Witnesses feel sick and nauseous. I could go on and on, but, by now, you’ve probably got the point I’m making.

There’s one even bigger mystery that much be addressed: why is that so many Bigfoot seekers/researchers outright refuse to deal with the weirder side of the enigma? That’s one of the main things in this particular field I’ve never been able to understand. As I see it, we should be looking for the creatures, no matter what they are: flesh and blood, paranormal, or occult-based. That Bigfoot enthusiasts would actually get mad because someone told them they saw a Bigfoot vanish in a flash of light – or encountered it covered in flickering lights – is crazy. Ridiculous. Nutty. Everyone in this field should look at each case on its own merit, and not by censoring the data. Yes, censoring in this field does occur. Shame on them who are driven by belief.
Yes, there really are creatures out there that have become known as Bigfoot, Sasquatch, the Skunk Ape and more. But, they’re not what many people believe them to be – or earnestly want them to be. Namely, North American apes that are akin to African gorillas. The Bigfoot creatures have supernatural angles to them. Like it or not, but these things are much more than unknown apes. Trying to catch them like you might try and catch a grizzly bear is utterly pointless.  Zoology will never solve the Bigfoot mystery. But, a paranormal/occult approach, one day, probably will.

There are no Grocery Stores in the Forest – Is it all True # 432

This past week, Michael and I were listening to a couple of interviews on YouTube of Sasquatch researchers who were from the south. Between the two of them, they had multiple years of experience in the field. As the interviews progressed, a few things came to my mind. I realized that there are people in this field who really don’t see Sasquatch as an interdimensional being. I was really surprised but what bothered me the most was that they both alluded to the fact that anyone who does think Sasquatch is interdimensional, is deluding themselves. My mind came to a screeching halt and I said, “What?!”

I respect the years they both have in the field but I realized that sometimes when you are so close to a subject, eventually it’s hard to see the forest for the trees.

I know deep in the forest that the darkness keeps the secrets of her minions to herself. It’s part of the dark and light tussle of Mother Nature. To think that any Cryptid is going to be our friend, is rather naïve and foolish. I know the Dogman that Michael and I saw in New Mexico, wanted to be left alone and if we didn’t abide by his wishes, I know he would have charged at us. You have to listen, follow your gut and you can’t go into the forest thinking you are at the top of the food chain.

There are no grocery stores in the forest.

Yet, I can’t stop wondering why people in the Sasquatch field of research would assume something that is flesh and blood would be similar to us. One of the interviewers stated as fact that older males mate with all the females in the group and that because of this, the younger males would be pushed out of the group. Where on earth did he get this information? How would he know?

This is part of the problem in this field, researchers making comments like this one based on no facts only speculation. I mean, he would have to literally be within arms length of where they live, see how they live and watch their mating customs. Let’s be frank, if anyone could get this close, especially with this mind set, I doubt seriously they would live to tell the tale.

Another thing that bothered me is the names they have in the south for Sasquatch. One in particular was a definite slur. A Bugger is something that comes out of my nose. How in the hell did a Sasquatch become a Bugger? How can anybody research something they don’t respect? It’s obviously a peculiar mindset besides being a southern slang term but come on; Sasquatch isn’t below us in intelligence. Imagine how they see us from their perspective. They have to be shown respect.

Here’s a tip for those of you camping out this summer:

Don’t camp or park your vehicle in a Cryptids dining room.  If you don’t want to be on the menu, I highly recommend you don’t call them … Buggers.

Loekey Continued… Is it all True series # 389

Bigfoot-dark-image[1]Every once in a blue moon I would think about Loekey and then zone out, filling my days with the constant mundane certainty of being housemaid, animal keeper, Girl Friday and time clock Mom. Life can become a rerun that doesn’t require any forethought but to tell you the truth, for someone like me, it’s actually a comforting lifestyle.

Normalcy is an understatement in our home because as an impath, sometimes wayward spirits like to continue discussions by attaching themselves to me as I head home. Sometimes it’s hard to remember to leave uninvited guests at my doorstep. Loekey was different though. To me, he was more then an inquisitive or needy spirit, he was a highly evolved being that represented the Sentient Forests and their mysteries. In some ways, Loekey’s energy reminded me of an old, antiquated Child’s story. You know, the ones we all grew up with, the Enchanted Forests of old, with Fairies, dragons and unicorns.

I knew it was just a matter of time before Loekey would contact me again. I wasn’t worried about our next chance meeting but I have to say, I really didn’t want another conversation in the shower. I guess the human (woman) in me just felt like I was at a disadvantage being naked. As I found out later, Loekey on the other hand thought I would be more comfortable this way. Boy, does he have a lot to learn about humans, especially women!

Months came and went and still no Loekey. August was an especially busy month not only because my daughter went back to school but because she turned 20. Needless to say, by the end of the month I was ready for a vacation.

Michael and I decided to take a short trip to Oregon, on Labor Day weekend. It was a great change of pace for both of us and I was really looking forward to seeing the countryside. We stayed in Portland with Michael’s daughter and her fiancé and ventured out in our rental car during the day. On our first day, we were blessed to have Michael’s oldest daughter with us so we drove all around wine country and back roads. We saw Christmas tree farms along with groups of huge pine trees. The forests were thick with undergrowth and the smell was the best part, it has never left me.

The second night of our vacation, we settled down to go to bed and for some reason I could not fall asleep. I tossed and I turned and I found that I was really dry and thirsty so I got up to drink some water. I put a few water bottles on a side table that was in front of the closet. We moved it there to give us more room by the bed. I drank a whole water bottle and still felt dry. I usually drink a lot of water at night but what made this really weird, I drank more water then usual that night because I felt like a dried up ole pine tree.

I knew I really needed to get some sleep since it was after midnight so I turned off the light and got back into bed. I laid down and turned to my left side facing the outside of the bed. As I lay trying to get comfortable, I got the sensation that there was a huge figure standing by the door-frame inside the room. I thought I was just imagining it but I could clearly see the outline of a large figure standing, facing me. I said quietly to myself that if there really was someone there, to make a sound. Just as I said that, two of the water bottles that I drank from, popped in sequence very loudly. As a matter of fact, so loud that I knew they probably woke up Michael but to my astonishment, he was still asleep.

That’s when Loekey said hello and told me not be scared. I must admit my heart was pounding a mile a minute and I was very intimidated by his large frame. His head was right up against the ceiling and I could see a leather strap across his chest. He talked to me for what seemed like minutes but I had the impression that it was more like hours. All I know is that by the time I did fall asleep, I was no longer intimidated by Loekey and I felt very comfortable in his presence. It was evident that Loekey had given me quite a bit of information but I was too tired to do anything but sleep.

Loekey – Is it all True Series # 388

Please note that if you wish to use this drawing, please ask me first. All my drawings are copyrighted.

Here is my favorite contact, Loekey an Oregonian Sasquatch who as some of you may know, was a major part of 3 posts that I wrote about last year. I haven’t had much contact with him this year but I have felt him around. As a matter of fact, we have two gigantic pine trees in our front yard and Michael and I picked this house especially for Loekey to come and visit since he is a portal jumper by nature.

We have exceptional views of the Wasatch mountain range here and love the close proximity to magnificent canyons and trails. The vortex photography looks like it will be beyond our wildest dreams. We are excited to see what appears in our photos.

Loekey is a major part of my first experience with a Sasquatch and I feel very honored that he chose me to communicate with. In the near future as he communicates with me more, I will keep you all posted.

Just recently, Michael and I went to Skinwalker Ranch. I’ll tell you all about that adventure in my next blog post!

The perfect Sasquatch photo is it coming soon?—Is it all True Series # 343

I have personally been researching Sasquatch for most of my life, from reading everything I could find on the subject when I was in my teens to intense field research with Kewaunee Lapseritis my friend and amazing Sasquatch Contactee and a man of incredible paranormal abilities.
Kewaunee
About 7 years ago I discovered vortex photography by accident on a mini-expedition with Kewaunee. Kewaunee who taken me to a powerful vortex (area of high and low electromagnetic field close together). I started taking random digital photos and low and behold in the first 20 photo there was what I believe was a youth Sasquatch sitting on a fence rail, see photo below. This was a long shot guessing maybe 200 yards or so and remember I didn’t see it when I originally took the photo.06 Only after I analyzed the photos back at our lodge did I see the image. I showed it to a local ranger and he said it’s ever one of two things (after he eliminated the bear possibility) a person in the middle of the hot summer with a fur coat on or a Sasquatch. So I believe it’s a Sasquatch sunning him or herself on the fence rail. But you judge, it is still a little blurry and small, but worth the consideration.
Now I have looked at hundreds of Sasquatch photos/ video, some seems very possible, but most of them are hoaxes of the worse degree. I do think the best video/ photo ever is still Patterson/Gimlin back in 1967. I have a close up of the face of the female and it’s amazing and the technology of the time to fake this didn’t exist. And as you know the photos were analyzed by some of the best in the field and they all gave it two thumbs up.

I believe with all the new cameras in circulation around the world now (smart phones, drones etc.) the perfect photo/ video is just around the corner. I must add here , even though Sasquatch is a shy being and doesn’t want to be photographed and is very excellent at hiding or disappearing into another dimension, his/face beautiful face is coming to mainstream media very soon.

Sleep tight, The Sasquatch people are here only to help save our planet, we both have the same earth mother.
